How do we ship?

We use both Canada Post (for orders shipped from Canada) and The Royal Mail (for all products sourced from Europe and Great Britain, orders are shipped from one of our pharmacies in Great Britain.) Once your order arrives in The USA, United States Postal Service takes over and delivers it to your door.

Here’s how it works:

Orders Shipped from Canada

As we’re located in Vancouver, BC, Canada, your package leaves our pharmacy with Canada Post.

Canada Post sends a truck to our pharmacy for pick up at 4 PM Pacific Time Monday through Friday. (Canada Post does not pick up or deliver on Saturdays or Sundays, so…although we’d love to ship then; we can’t!)

The truck leaves the pharmacy and finishes its daily pick-ups at other businesses, before returning to the main post office in Vancouver. Once it arrives at the main post office, the duffle bags of our packages are unloaded and scanned into the Canada Post system. Then they’re sorted to be trucked to Seattle, Washington (a 2 hour drive south of Vancouver); the intake point for United States Postal Service for all mail coming from Vancouver.

At the Seattle Post Office, the packages are scanned into the USPS system then go through US Customs where they must be “cleared.” This process usually happens in 1 or 2 days, but can be longer during periods of high volume, like December holidays when everyone is shipping presents!

Once the package clears customs, it’s on its way to the main post office located near you, sorted again and sent to your home.

Orders Shipped from Great Britain (Includes all products from Europe)

For Products from Great Britain and Europe, your package leaves one of our Great Britain Pharmacies with The Royal Mail (the British equivalent to The United States Postal Service.)

Royal Mail trucks pick up the days orders from our pharmacies at 3 PM daily, excluding Sundays.

The truck leaves the pharmacy and finishes its daily pick-ups at other businesses, before returning to the main post office in The closest main city. Once it arrives at the main post office, the duffle bags of our packages are unloaded and scanned into The Royal Mail system. Then they’re sorted to be trucked to London, England and loaded on an airplane for New York, the intake point for United States Postal Service for the majority of mail coming from Great Britain.

At the New York Post Office, the packages are scanned into the USPS system then go through US Customs where they must be “cleared.” This process usually happens in 1 or 2 days, but can be longer during periods of high volume, like December holidays when everyone is shipping presents!

Once the package clears customs, it’s on its way to the main post office located near you, sorted again and sent to your home.

How long does it take?

Orders Shipped from Canada

We ship using “Expedited” service which is 5-7 business days in transit. Overall, from the time we receive your order at the pharmacy until your medication is in your hands, please allow 10-14 days in total.

Generally speaking, if we receive your order form fully completed and with your valid doctor’s prescription, your order will ship within 24 hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Your package is delivered by your regular USPS mailman or mailwoman. You don’t have to be home and you don’t have to sign for it. For everyone’s record and confirmation of delivery, the time of delivery is noted in the USPS system the moment it’s delivered to your address.

Please note that during holidays and peak periods, it could take 2 weeks for you to receive your package. It’s encouraged that you order at least 3 weeks before you need your medication, in order to allow for possible delays in delivery times.
