  • suicidal thoughts
  • self harm/self injury thoughts
  • tardive dyskinesia (TD) – uncontrollable jerky movements typically starting with tongue rolling and/or chewing motions.
  • extreme muscle stiffness
  • sweating
  • sustained erection in males
  • painful erection in males
  • stroke in elderly patients with dementia (Abilify should not be prescribed to patients suffering from dementia)
  • allergic reactions such as swelling
  • speech disorder
  • nervousness
  • abnormal liver tests
